Two In One Pig Arc
Pigs may not foul their bedding, but they do not wipe their feet either, and in winter in our experience cleaning them out can be hard work. So we did our research and found that a large percentage of our customers who required floors thought the same, fixed floors were ok until they came to clean them out. "What would be perfect" said one commercial farmer in Cornwall, "would be an ark with a removable floor". Well here it is. Ideal for use with farrowing sows or particularly muddy land. The removable floor is easily removed from the ark allowing for a more thorough cleaning ready for it's next occupants.
The floor is made from solid tanalised floor boards, rough sawn for maximum grip. It is attached to the ark at two points with "D" shackles and ring plates.
